Supan Brothers Suspension

was started in July of 2008 by Matt and AJ Supan. The company services and sells suspension components and related products for numerous racing applications.  Matt and AJ Supan are the owners and founders of Supan Brothers Suspension; however AJ is less involved due to his full time job obligations. 

Both Matt & AJ began racing when they were five years old; giving them each, over 20 years experience in the racing industry. Matt and AJ have combined for 22 National wins in quarter-midgets and over 500 feature wins throughout their careers in racing, both cars and motorcycles. 

Matt gained "hands on" experience working with USAC Midget, Sprint Car & Silver Crown Champion, Tracy Hines. His direction became more clear when he moved to North Carolina for college and began working for Suspension Systems in Huntersville, NC from 2006 to 2008.  In the summer of 2008, Matt attended numerous AMA - ATV races with Suspension Systems as a traveling service representative.

In July of 2008 Matt started servicing shocks under his own name, out of his own garage.  In September of 2008, Supan Brothers Suspension purchased a shock dyno for the purpose of testing and evaluating shocks. 

In January of 2009 Matt saw the necessity for more space and began construction of a new building specific for the shock business. 

In May of 2010, Matt, together with his team, won first place for their Senior Design Project - a Grass Chute Discharge Deflector that has now been patented. Both Matt and AJ graduated, with honors, from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. They have been testing, racing, and consulting with teams around the country to improve their suspension packages. 

In 2011, Matt has been working with many suspension manufacturer's to not only gain knowledge of their products, but to work closely with them in developing the best possible products for the market today.

In September of 2011, Supan Brothers Suspension was registered as an LLC and currently holds a tax license through the state of North Carolina.
